Irony - By Charles Darwin.

“False facts are highly injurious to the progress of science, for they often endure long; but false views, if supported by some evidence, do little harm, for everyone takes a salutary pleasure in proving their falseness; and when this is done, one path towards error is closed and the road to truth is often at the same time opened.”

The point is, of course, that 'natural selection' - a provable and proven process - cannot, in any way, be responsible for evolution. It contains no mechanism whatsoever for any creature to be able to expand outside its own intrinsic genetic boundaries. Sorry, Charlie!
It reminds me of the top geneticist who opened his lecture series at a decent university with these words:
"I do hope that there is nobody here who thinks that evolution can be proved from within the science of genetics.''
