Former equalities watchdog boss Trevor Phillips is SUSPENDED from the Labour Party over Islamophobia allegations, including his statements about Pakistani men grooming children. 

Mr Phillips (left) was among 24 public figures who last year declared their refusal to vote for the Labour Party because of its association with anti-Semitism. He has now been suspended by the party's general secretary Jennie Formby over allegations of Islamophobia 'including statements about Pakistani men grooming children'.
