Against a backcloth of demands for reparations for national wrongdoing from centuries ago - let us not forget that in 1776, American revolutionary colonists stole what is now the USA from Britain.
Not sure that we want it back but - just give us the cash please! Shall we say $5trillion as a great knockdown price?
