How Sara in Iraq is learning her true worth When Sara chose to follow Jesus, she hadn't expected her dad to be so angry. Though she'd grown up in a Muslim home, they weren't very devout. But he said, "I would have preferred if you ran away with a man, and not done this."   Sara was put under immediate house arrest. Her father planned a forced marriage. In her patriarchal culture, women have few rights - and persecutors use this as a tool.   Thankfully, Sara managed to escape and continues to be supported by Open Doors local partners - with your help.
