Standing firm – Christians in India podcast

Following the recent release from prison of one of the killers of Australian missionary Graham Staines back in 1999, we speak to a senior church leader in India about the nature of militant Hindu nationalism in India today and how the church is continuing to proclaim the gospel in the face of adversity. This latest edition of our Voice podcast will be published on our website next week. Click here for link.
Prison walls to speak one more time

Have you seen Artless Theatre Company’s If Prison Walls Could Speak? This captivating production tells the story of Petr Jasek, who was imprisoned in Sudan for more than a year after visiting persecuted Christians in that country. You have one last chance to see this powerful play! A finale performance will be taking place at Kensington Temple in London on the evening of Thursday, May 22 (7:30 pm). To book tickets click here
Last remaining tickets for special dinner with Petr Jasek

While Petr Jasek and his wife Vanda are in London for the final performance of If Prison Walls Could Speak we are hosting a special dinner with them at the Union Jack Club in central London. A three-course banquet menu will be served, and after dinner, Paul Robinson, Release International's CEO, will host a Q&A with Petr who will share more about his story of arrest and imprisonment in Sudan. If you would like to be part of this evening, you can book tickets here.
Andrew Brunson to speak in the UK this autumn!

We are excited to announce that former prisoner of faith Andrew Brunson will be speaking in a series of live Release International events this November. For 23 years Andrew and his wife Norine served as missionaries in Turkey. In October 2016 they hit the headlines when Andrew was arrested and falsely accused of terrorism. Christians around the world were praying for him and, following pressure from the US government, he was released two years later. Andrew will share his story and encourage us to remain faithful to Christ and the gospel in difficult times. Watch out for more details of dates and venues in due course!
