September 2025 Urgent Notice: Jurassic Ark Open Day Sat. 27thSept – Cancelled (See details below) Creation Research Team in the USA What an incredible blessing it was for representatives of Creation Research from 3 countries to meet together in the USA for research, fellowship and ministry in September. For a few of us it was the first time we had met in person. First stop was the world’s 3rd biggest fossil and gem show a Denver where some fantastic evidences were obtained for our museum projects. The scale of this show was hard for this Tasmanian to fathom. Stadiums full of exhibitors from all over the world, multiple hotels and parking lots taken over with all manner of gem and fossil sellers. One thing a show like Denver certainly drives home is just how many fossils there are out there. This presents a picture of an incredibly productive world devastated by the flood of Noah’s day. Africa was obtained for the Tasmanian museum, demonstrating just how fast fossilization needs to occur before the animals rot. Our USA road trip then headed west across the Rockies to Kemmerer Wyoming where we did an organized dig at the famous Green River deposits. We uncovered some great fossils, which after preparation work, the USA team will have available for sale at various events in the future. A lot was learned about the area at the Fossil Butte National Monument. A big thank you for the team at Fossil Lake Quarry that looked after us for the day. We will report more on this in later newsletters. See a short Youtube clip on the dig HERE Mount St Helens Eventually we made it to Mt St Helens where our scientific team did some filming. This was made especially interesting with the input of geologist Bill Hoesch who is the director of the Mount St Helens Creation Center at Castle Rock, Washington. We highly recommend our USA supporters get along and visit this great museum which presents the truth about Biblical history with a focus on the amazing evidence that arises from the 1980 eruption and subsequent events at Mt St Helens. The aim is to produce a short documentary on our visit with some incredible footage that we were able to take. The area behind us in the picture (below) was completely devastated during the eruption. Within a relatively short time, the environmental recovery is incredible and is testament to the resilience of creation. More than 60% of the animal species were found in the area within 2 years after the eruption. Now 45 years later, life is teeming in the area. Ministry in Northwest USA The folk at Hall Boulevard Baptist Church, Portland Oregon, made us feel so welcome on Sunday 14th Sept where Craig and Joe both shared. Joe spoke on his work discovering soft tissue in dinosaur bones and Craig on how Tasmania, the island state off the southern end of Australia, fits within Biblical history. A blessed time of praise and worship was great to be a part of. We then travelled north and enjoyed a specially convened evening at Calvary Chapel, Northwest Olympia Washington where Joe, Glenn and Craig all gave presentations followed by an excellent question and answer time. There is a hunger among believers to see how real facts support the Bible and it was wonderful to see how many people of all ages were engaged in learning more. Brisbane Museum Open Day at Acacia Ridge (20th Sept)   The day was a blessed success. Shown is the full scale giant kangaroo display based on fossils alongside our roo-artist Steve Cardno. It went well with the fossil kangaroo we dug up on the Darling Downs several weeks back which is also on display.   Our fossil kangaroo is the first to be found in Qld with a baby still in the pouch. (See pictures in the last newsletter) Thanks to Diane, Josiah, Rebecca Steve and Des for their hard work on the open day as John Mackay has badly hurt his back. Joseph Hubbard Busy in UK Creation Teaching The end of summer is always a busy time of year for the ministry in the UK, with two major events back to back - the Truth in Science Summer School (TiSSS) (picture below left) and the Cefn Lea Christian home education conference (picture below right), both of which were attended by Creation Research. Joseph spoke on the evidence for Noah’s Flood and a Biblical view of animal rights at the TiSSS, along with a whole group of creation and Bible speakers from around the UK, hosted by Prof. Andy McIntosh. Over 100 students attended, so pray that they can use the training for God’s glory as they continue through their studies. Shortly before these conferences, Joe also spent a week preaching in Poland at a Christian retreat in the mountains of Zakopane. Poland is an exceptionally secular state, with a population less than 1% evangelical Christian. Pray as more opportunities open up for ministry and a museum display in this country.
