I am not against the ordination of women - which means that I have no problems with a female Archbishop of Canterbury.

I do suspect, however, that there has been a longtime agenda to drag 'liberal women' into key posts.

I am told that the new AofC is prepared to 'bless homosexual marriages'.

If the Bible condemns the practice of homosexuality as well as significantly declaring that marriage is between a man and a woman - she will be opting to take a scripturally impossible stance.

As well as jettisoning her own salvation, she will be condemned for using her authority to lead others astray. (See Titus in the NT.)

IMHO, GAFCON is now extremely likely to start the processes needed to secede from the Anglican Communion.

One more step in the long, slow and painful process of the self-destruction of what was once a mighty institution.

Please pray that this lady will act in accordance with God's wishes and will not place herself on a one way path to Hell. 

It is the bounden duty of all believers to pray for the lost.
