Release International’s partner in Algeria supports pastors who are facing legal action. This includes providing lawyers, paying fines and providing monthly support for the families of pastors who have been arrested or imprisoned.

Pray for Christians in Algeria, as the government continues to prosecute people for unauthorised worship, while at the same time refusing to allow the Protestant Church of Algeria to officially register its churches.

Pray for a number of Algerian Christians who have appeared in court recently. Pray for God’s protection and for his favour in the verdicts. Pray for all Christians currently facing legal proceedings.

Pray for the release of 6,000 Bibles that have been held at the port of Algiers for three years. These were legally imported by the Bible Society of Algeria.
