You suffer; your prople are probably enslaved; you wonder tearfully why you are praying this terrible price. You soon recognise that the folly of your pacifist-leaning governments has sold you out!
War must be understood and prepared for - just because you are not bellicose - does not mean that the people who despise you and want what you possess won't be!
As an amateur historian, this Blogger has 'studied war' over decades and can declare with absolute certainty that the best way for your nation to end up embroiled in conflict is to pretend that 'if you ignore war - it will just quietly go away'.
