Here is a sonnet capturing the profound stillness and joy found in spiritual communion with God.

Here is a sonnet capturing the profound stillness and joy found in spiritual communion:

The rushing world dissolves in quiet grace,
When in the sacred stillness I recline,
And seek the warmth of Your abiding face,
A peace that is so human, yet divine.
The heavy burdens of the day depart,
Replaced by lightness born of perfect trust,
A sudden sunburst in the shadowed heart,
That lifts the spirit from the earthly dust.
No longer bound by fear or anxious sigh,
I rest within the hollow of Your hand,
Beneath the shelter of an open sky,
The truest home my soul has ever planned.
In ev’ry breath, in ev'ry joy conferred,
I find my silence answers to Your word.
