Thanks To the Huff Post And Daily Mail.

I may need to speak VERY slowly for the benefit of the Huffington Post and Daily Mail editorial teams (inter al).
UKIP voters are NOT fooled by your antics. The vast majority recognise smear tactics when they see them. YES - the leftists will love it all BUT the leftists were not going to vote UKIP anyway.
What you are doing is to keep mentioning the UKIP brand over and over again. For all the votes you lose UKIP -  you are probably gaining them three times more with your fine advertising. You are so very kind!

Green Energy Leading To More Fuel poverty? - No Thanks!

Energy bills will have to rise to pay for new offshore wind farms, Lib Dem minister Ed Davey admits.

The government announced eight new renewable energy projects,m including four offshore wind sites (file picture)
The Energy Secretary said prices will rise be up to 2 per cent higher to pay for as much as £1billion in subsidies for eight new green power projects. Mail.

Cannabis Dangers.

Research from the University of Toulouse indicates that cannabis use can and does trigger heart attacks - even in young people!

Jamaica Inn.

There have been many complaints about the sound quality of Daphne du Maurier's televised Jamaica Inn.
This Blog deplores the loss of key speech - usually by unedifying slurring of words or loud music on the soundtrack or a combination thereof. There was a phase, maybe twenty five years ago when this became the norm, especially in American films before disappearing. This pain in the rear has now returned with a vengeance.
Here is a tip for directors - if the soundtrack is louder than the actual speech it accompanies - YOU HAVE FAILED!
(My hearing is excellent, by the way.)

Er ... Yes.

Open Doors Request.

URGENT ACTION - Invite your MP to a major debate!
Together, you and many other amazing campaigners have sent tens of thousands of emails to your MPs since they were elected in 2010. Time and again you’ve raised the plight of our persecuted brothers and sisters - thank you!
This has had an undeniable impact in Parliament, reaching the highest level! Open Doors UK & Ireland’s CEO, Eddie Lyle, was at an Easter reception where Prime Minister David Cameron said:

“I hope we can do more to raise the profile of the persecution of Christians around the world... We should stand up against persecution of Christians and other religious groups wherever and whenever we can, and should be unashamed in doing so”.

Let’s keep building this momentum!
A key debate is taking place next week – make sure your MP is there!
On 1 May, MPs will spend three hours debating “Freedom of thought, conscience and religion”. Following the Prime Minister’s emotive speech and the increased scenes of violence on Christian communities in Nigeria and Syria, this is the perfect opportunity for your MP to voice the concerns you’ve been raising. Please invite your MP to take part in this significant debate.

Debate organisers Naomi Long, Mark Pritchard and Julian Lewis MPs have purposefully pitched for the main chamber so as many MPs as possible can attend.  Make sure your MP gets an invitation to this debate – invite your MP today!

The debate was only agreed just before Easter so there’s now only one week to send the invitation – but we feel it’s really important. A strong turn-out from MPs on the day will hammer home the UK’s commitment to promoting the right to freedom of religion or belief. Invite your MP today: let’s help make sure the chamber is packed!

Thanks so much for your ongoing support!  Please keep an eye on our website and your inbox for highlights of the debate.
Every blessing,
Zoe & Anastasia

P.S. We welcome your feedback and comments, but please note that we will be unable to respond personally to every reply to this email.

Theresa May has been accused of trying to "make the figures fit the politics" over proposals to cut net migration by nearly 20,000 a year by shortening visas for foreign employees so they can escape being classified as migrants. Huff Post.

Could biofuels be HARMING the environment? Ethanol produces MORE CO2 emissions than petrol, study claims

In a blow to 'green' fuel campaigners, a recent study has shown that biofuels made from the leftovers of corn plants are worse than petrol for global warming
A study funded by the U.S. government claims that biofuels made with corn residue release seven per cent more greenhouse gases compared to petrol. Mail.

Post Easter Reflections.

An Easter message from Christian Concern

This Easter we reflect on how the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ changed everything.
We marvel at how the lives of 12 followers of Jesus, from humble, untrained backgrounds, led to one out of every three people on our planet now identifying themselves as Christians.
The answer is found in the Easter Story.
Jesus’ death meant that our sins could be forgiven. It opened the way for rebellious people to know and be reconciled to God. His resurrection vindicated Jesus as the true King of Kings. It marked the beginning of a new creation, where death has been destroyed and we can be certain of eternal life with Him.

No other event has impacted the world so much as the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus never wrote a book, and yet there are more books written about Him than any other figure in history. From what we know Jesus never composed a song, but there is more music written about Him than any other subject, bar none. And as far as we know, Jesus never drew any pictures or created any sculptures, but more art has been made about Jesus Christ than any other subject in history. Jesus never travelled more than 100 miles from where he was born, yet you can find His followers in every nook and cranny of the planet.
The life, death and resurrection of Jesus, is good news about a good King who rules perfectly. That is why we must tell everyone about Him.

What does the Easter story mean?
  • God loves us unconditionally – to the point of giving us his Son (John 3:16-17)
  • That we can be free and forgiven from our sin by Jesus' death. (Isaiah 53:6-10)
  • Jesus defeated death so we don't have to fear it. (1 Corinthians 15:3-28)
  • We receive God's promised Holy Spirit to empower us. (Acts 1:8)
  • God has a greater purpose for our lives – to serve, and lay down our life for others (Mark 8:34-35, 2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
  • We can be certain of our future inheritance as God’s sons and daughters. (1 Peter 1:3-5)
These are wonderful, amazing, fantastic truths and motivate us at Christian Concern to hold high the name of Jesus and all truth that flows from Him in the public sphere.

Let’s share the Easter story with everyone around us  - Let us be confident and courageous in declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ and standing up for our faith. Christian Concern.

Don't Try Too Hard To Explain.

Europhile Papers Join With Tory Press To Malign UKIP But ...

... I actually wonder if all of the anti-UKIP propaganda is not beginning to help UKIP. It is so distorted that few believe it - leftists apart, probably. It is giving UKIP a regular profile in the media EVERY DAY in the run-up to the May elections.

Do Migrants REALLY Bring Financial Benefits?

Research from UCL shows that EU migrants contribute 34% more in taxes than they cost in benefits.  But ....
This research doesn’t take into account the cost of schools, hospitals, policing and other public services.
With 2.3 million unemployed, British citizens would be doing these jobs anyway and bringing this money in.  British citizens are out of work as a result, and that costs us money.
But the claim is disingenuous anyway.  If we had two people come into the country, one bringing a skill to earn £50,000 a year and another claiming benefits, the country might well be ‘better off’ having both than having neither.  But we’d do better still to just have the skilled worker without the drain on our finances.

Do You Have Friends?

Then tip them off about this Blog:

Europhile Deceit Revealed.

Of all the new jobs created in the UK, 9 out of 10 of them have gone to UK workers.
The fact that 10% are going directly to foreign workers is bad enough, but we also need to add in the number of existing jobs which British workers are losing to foreign migrants.

God Only Forgives REPENTED Sin So ...

First, Do No Harm.
