Another plus point for the Poles!

Poland's parliament approved it in April, but the signature of the country's president, Lech Kaczynski, is essential for the Lisbon Treaty to be enshrined in Polish law.
He was asked whether, following Irish voters' rejection of the treaty, he would ratify it. Mr Kaczynski said:
'This is now pointless.'

***** NOTE. By the 2nd of July, Lech appeared already to be weakening.
I wonder what they have threatened him with?
