Whenever a Christian defends the Puritans for their theology, I am reminded of the horrors inflicted onto ordinary beings in their horrendous, pharisaical and bigoted theocracy.What sexual perversions do you suppose were described as 'Abominable and idolatrous ... and to be avoided by Christians?'
Not quite. This was the puritan view of mince pies and Christmas puddings.
