EU quotas result in thousands of tonnes of dead fish being dumped back into the sea.Fishing crews often continue catching large amounts of fish such as cod by accident after exceeding ridiculous EU quotas - and have no option but to dump them.
(Fish do not know the rules, you see.)
This can mean that HALF of all fish caught are dumped back into the sea - dead.
This is our environmentally-friendly EU, folks!
