The Belgian EU Commissioner, Karel de Gucht, has started his new post in a burst of honesty.He has admitted that the Lisbon Treaty was designed to be unreadable and that this was to stifle debate.
Shame really that this honesty will NOT be published in many - nay most - areas of the media.
The fact it has gone anywhere and especially to the likes of me means that he will be facing a good kicking from his new colleagues.
He'll learn!
