Lega Nord leader: Euro is kaput, Northern Italian regions will print their own currency.

Il Sole 24 Ore reports that the leader of Italy’s anti-euro Lega Nord party, Umberto Bossi, yesterday said, “The euro is kaput. Padania [the independent federation of Northern Italian regions Lega Nord has been calling for since the party was created] won, Italy lost, and now no one in Europe wants to pour money into a bailout fund. The Germans, rightly, don’t want to repay Italy and Greece’s debts, so nothing will happen…Once everything is over, Padania will print its own currency.”
I'm not a real fan of The Lega Nord but - at least they can read 'the writing on the wall'.
