U.S. actor Sean Penn pictured here with Argentine President Cristina Kirchner yesterday, said that the UK was being 'ludicrous and archaic' by believing it could hold on to what he called 'the Malvinas Islands of Argentina'. He added that diplomacy was needed to resolve the issue but that he was firmly on the side of the Argentinians. (Mail)
So. Mr Penn has no historical sense of the ownership of the Falklands whatsoever.
Were he right in challenging the British case, it would only be correct if he were to take the part of France, whose claim to the islands is considerably stronger than that of the Argies.
Geographically, the UK has 'no case to answer' and Argentina no justification!
Democratically - the locals are marginally more keen to stay British than are the people of Gibraltar where votes on the issue are always 97%+.
So Sean. Just who are you anyway? Some jumped up, self important, third rate actor whose only real claim to fame is once having married that second rate singer, Madonna.
So, shut tha know-nowt, interferin' gob!
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
