Supporters in the Orpington area have an opportunity to buy some very special jewellery on June 16 and at the same time raise funds to help persecuted Christians.
The items have been made by Release volunteer Christine Yaxley, who takes materials such as semi-precious stones from unwanted or broken accessories and then refashions them to make new jewellery.Christine, who will be running a stall at the River Church craft fair in Orpington on June 16, put out an appeal for unwanted items in our last magazine and was overwhelmed by the response from readers.
'I was so blessed by the wonderful response,' she told us. 'The parcels of jewellery still keep coming!'
There will be a variety of stalls at the fair, which will be held at Duke Centre, Park Road, St Mary Cray, BR5 4AS, between 10am – 2pm. Admission is 50p (children free). Proceeds from the sale of the jewellery, admission and table hire will go to Release.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
