The U.S. Senate's Committee of Foreign Relations will review a resolution that seeks to free imprisoned Iranian pastor Youcef Nadarkhani while also encouraging Iran to monitor its human rights abuses more closely, especially in cases of religious freedom. "The Senate resolution supporting Pastor Youcef is a critical symbol of continued international pressure calling for his immediate release," said the American Center for Law and Justice in a press release. The ACLJ has been heavily involved in the pastor's case.
Nadarkhani has remained imprisoned in Iranian jail since Oct. 2009 for his Christian faith, and despite the efforts of the international community to push for his release, the Iranian government continues to keep him behind bars. (Christian Post.)
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
