ICM Poll Carries No Surprises.

'A poll by ICM found that UKIP’s policies are favoured over those of the Tories among key right-of-centre voters - particularly on immigration, government spending and same-sex marriage.' Mail.
It must be emphasised that Ukip policies are well-liked by the centre and are far from being without support amongst those traditional labour voters who have been edged out by the liberal left.
As for the hardcore LibDem voters, they will remain in their ivory towers but it is interesting that a number of former Lib Dem voters are starting to see what has long been obvious - that that party is not 'between the two largest parties' but is in fact, solidly the most leftwing of the trio!
