  • Son of former Glamorgan and England batsman Matthew Maynard
  • First-class debut for Glamorgan in August 2007 against Somerset, scoring 15
  • Moved to Surrey in November 2010
  • Right-handed batsman, scored 2,384 first-class runs (average 32.65)
  • Toured with England Lions in 2011-12
  • Died in London, 18 June 2012, aged 23 because of cocaine, ecstasy, excessive alcohol and an inability to face up tpo the consequences of his actions.
