Labour's spell in power left an horrendously top-heavy system of public spending, as well as disincentivisation, huge debts and the banks imploding - all against a backcloth of petty socialist idealism combined with a fawning up to the EU of both sickening and expensive proportions. Add their actions to our country's moral decline and you'll see they did not do frightfully well!
Cameron and Clegg have gained the legacy of all this - and TBH - they haven't done frightfully well.
For ever and a day, the political response of voters in such situations has been to return to the previous bunch of losers whilst conveniently forgetting how they were probably marginally worse.
Thus, if you are of a rightist mentality - there is the BNP - but OOPS! If not quite dead - they are, happily at least, in their death throes.
What, if anything, this last decade has taught us is that the LibLabCon are all failures of a gargantuan size.
That leaves the absurd leftwing stance of both Respect and the Greens which are the same as the above - but 300% worse!
