Mole-In-The-Know can reveal that UKIP's selection
procedures for the EU elections are now amongst the most arduous ever seen
throughout the entire world.
They are determined that there will be a meritocracy
emerge of the 60 chosen candidates in England which will be the best people in
the party in a ranked order. The democratic side will then be left to members as
they exercise their votes.
The rigorous sifting, from hundreds of applicants, is
demanding in the extreme and those in the top twenty - and higher - will all
have a genuine chance to be elected.
Members will still be able to cast one of their ten
votes to local candidates who may not stand particularly high in the
rankings.
The process takes into account the negatives of
candidates as well as the positives.
