Question Time: Ukip's Diane James says UK needs out of the EU to control immigration.

UK INDEPENDENCE Party (Ukip) candidate Diane James said the UK needs to get out of the European Union (EU) to control immigration levels on Question Time last week.Diane James said we need to leave the EU to combat immigration from Bulgaria and Romania [BBC]

Mrs James, who stood for the party in the Eastleigh by-election this year, was discussing the issue of incoming Romania and Bulgarian migrants on the BBC show.
The Ukip candidate said the only way to stop the predicted influx from those migrants once restrictions are lifted after Christmas is to leave the Eurozone.
She said: "We've got no idea exactly how many people are going to come from the two countries in question (Bulgaria and Romania).
"There is a going to be a pressure when these two countries have their restrictions lifted and those people come here - and they are going to come here. Aw. Sorry I missed it!
