Good. Not before time. Too many excuses have been made to justify the inherent unfairness built into this kind of testing.
The 'unfairness' is not to the pupil - who often gets an inflated opinion of their own abilities and causes diluting of more advanced courses further down the line - but to the examination system itself.
Of course, many pupils prefer this method. IT IS EASIER - whatever protestations are made to the contrary.
I did a four year degree course. The first and fourth years were tough as we had to really learn everything. Years two and three (the latter spent at La Universidad Autonoma in Madrid) were a doddle as we were 'continuously assessed and did not need to put as much graft in!
Let us also never forget that non-examination systems are widely open to abuse.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
