Donations to Ukip have increased nearly seven-fold since
the beginning of last year after major donations from former Tory party
supporters, new figures show.
Nigel Farage’s party collected £493,412 in the first
three months of this year compared to £74,150 for the same period last
year, Electoral Commission records
show. In total the party
collected £618,730 for all of 2013.
The party was buoyed by support from former
