Raiders of The Lost Past.
I have just seen this veneration and alleged vindication of the
'Holy Grail which is kept in a small chapel in the Cathedral of
Valencia.'
This is all tommy rot:
1) How can you possibly trace the cup's antecedents?
2) The Christ was a man of simple
tastes - consider his entrance into Jerusalem at the head of a mighty army on a
dashing charger ... or perhaps not!
3) Which disciple decided to keep a relic?
4) Who released this cup worth a fortune to some fisherman or
other? - And why?
5) How had the cup travelled to Spain?
It goes on and on.
THERE IS NO PLACE FOR RELICS IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH!
