First Innings In Sydney.

On a near perfect batsmans' wicket, England were skittled in under four sessions for just 346 after winning a vital toss.

Bairstow and Vince and to some extent, skipper Root, all gave away their wickets at the top of the order and that was before the lower order also failed to really capitalise on the conditions. Well done though, to Tom Curran for a gallant 39 in only his second test.
Now we have a match which is distinctly losable to this talented Aussie team.
Aussies just two down at stumps on a near perfect batting track.
