All Quiet On The Western Front.

Yesterday, I watched All Quiet On The Western Front, the 1930 version of Erich Maria Remarque's classic, which I had last seen more than half a century ago. 
In the interim, I have seen two other versions but the original will take a lot of beating. 
So incredibly atmospheric - and one of the very first talkies.
It affected me deeply and leaps right into the higher reaches of my personal top ten
