Call for Leah’s freedom
|
It’s almost two and a half years since Leah Sharibu was abducted. You’ve joined us in prayer and protest regularly since then. And although she’s still in captivity, we’re not giving up.
In February 2018 Leah was one of 110 schoolgirls abducted from their school in north-east Nigeria by terrorists. The next month, following negotiations by the government, the remaining girls were put into trucks to go home. But Leah wasn’t among them. She wasn’t released because she refused to convert in exchange for her freedom. Leah was just 14 at the time. Please write to your MP to ask them to speak up for Leah. In the parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18 (also known as the parable of the unjust judge) Jesus taught that we should never give up seeking justice – and that, if we persist, even oppressive rulers can act justly. Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
