The Morality or Otherwise of The Death Penalty.

That any state should grant its citizens the right to murder other citizens, on a whim, without their own life ever being under equal threat, is surely the greatest depravity imaginable.
This point is logically unanswerable as an argument in this debate and surely supercedes all others.

Nowhere in the NT is capital punishment rescinded. Turning the other cheek is to the individual - Not the state.
