The England attack, led by 'the old man' himself, Jimmy Anderson, skittled India in less than two sessions.
Aided by some good spin bowling from Jack Leach, Anderson was at his truly awesome best.
Ah, 3 - 17, you may say - that sounds good - but it wasn't. It was simply the best short spell of quick bowling I've ever seen. It was sublime. Rahane, Pant and Gill were obliterated and India caved in under the onslaught.
Few captains go to Chennai and win - but that is what Joe Root did - and big style! Of course, winning the toss in this match was critical and we could easily lose the next three on the trot but let us take nothing away from the England Machine. This was a mighty victory!
