England had two spells of being really poor on the final day.
They failed to dislodge the Indian tail with some very average bowling assisted by a rare example of poor captaincy in the field by Joe Root. This allowed India to accrue a substantial total.
Chasing a target which was clearly beyond them, the England top three were dismissed for a combined total of just nine runs!
The death was slow and painful but England only have themselves to blame.
India were awesome and thoroughly deserved the win.
