EU fingerprint checks to make Dover queues 'seven times longer' in May.
The new system means non-European citizens, including Britons, will have to get their fingerprints and a facial biometric analysed every time they enter and leave the bloc. The new measure, known as the Entry Exit System (EES), will take photos and fingerprints of people from third countries crossing the border entering and exiting the European Union.
