The vast majority of members on the World Health Organization's transgender health policy committee have no medical background - and most are activists and human rights lawyers, not trained medical doctors. Critics fear the UN agency - whose recommendations are highly influential - has been captured by a 'trans bias' that could lead to a wave of minors later regretting their decision to transition, only to find some changes may be irreversible.
