Compassion UK.

Compassion

Dear All,

While we need to be alert to the pain and injustice in our world, we are not defeated by it, thanks to God's grace.

God is at work. We see this every single day here at Compassion.

We see young people who never dreamt of going to school - finishing university. Families who were torn apart by poverty - reunited. Those who were once struggling to earn an income - now running their own businesses.

This is God at work! And through His global church, we can be part of it!

So, this June, please join us in sharing with your home church the good things God is doing.

Post a message on social media, share a film with your friends, explore the Bible with your home group or even give a presentation.

  • Social media – let’s fill our social platforms with hope! Why not share Emanuel’s story with your contacts on Facebook and Instagram?
  • Bible study – poverty and injustice are big topics, so use the five-part Compassion Collective Bible study to get to grips with what God really has to say on these topics.
  • Share a film – share the short Compassion Sunday film with your church or home group to show them how God is at work.

Even if you’re nervous about stepping out, I’d urge you to give it a go. We know from Ephesians 3:20 that God can do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine when we step out in faith. And collectively, our impact will be so much greater.

Yours in Christ,
