Well. 'We all know that Christians hate gays, don't we?' This is a given and pushed around by - almost entirely - people who are left-leaning and not over-bothered by pursuit of truth.
The other form of this false narrative is that 'God hates gays.' - I despair. 100% wrong!
God loves every single person on this planet; every person who has ever walked on this planet; all those who are yet to be born. (Now here's a place where you can use the word 'inclusive' and it actually means something.) God does not love our breaking of His rules.
God rules the universe.
God has told us what He knows is right and what is wrong.
God will punish those who ignore the path for salvation that He has mapped out for us - whoever we might be - parson or rent boy.
God has integrity and wants all to avoid Hell.
We have freewill and can use it to accept God's way or to reject it. If we are Hell-bound - it is by our own personal choice.
God has determined that homosexuality is not what He had planned for the people of His Earth.
Jesus, God the Son, died and shed His blood so that this blood - a sin-cleanser - could buy salvation for all. Admit to your wrongdoing; repent it sincerely; opt to follow the path that God has laid out for you in the Scriptures.
Heaven is then your destination not Hell.
Do bear in mind that sin ruins God's plan and there will be consequences - but through Jesus there is salvation.
Christians may WARN homosexuals of the cosmic consequences of their lifestyles - but this has nothing to do with hatred at all.
We are acting out of love. True Christians want all sinners - including gays - to be saved and to meet us in heaven.
