A 52 year minimum sentence will have to do, I suppose.
Every part of my brain wanted a death sentence - but the insanity of those who abolished this penalty back in 1964 should haunt every one of them who remains alive.
The deterrent effect disappeared and has cost the lives of literally thousands of innocents over the decades
Total abolition meant that murderers were given a 'free pass' to kill whomsoever they chose in the full knowledge that whatever brutality they committed, their own worthless life could never be forfeit.
In todays fetid society, teenage murderers are queuing up to butcher other teens. The minimum age for a capital sentence should have been reduced to 14. Even if this were virtually never used - at least the threat would have saved some lives.
Abolitionists - what you did to my society was an utter disgrace. YOU are blameworthy even more to blame than Rudakabuna!
Christians who pretend that the Bible does not allow for the death penalty have clearly never read it!
Look into those eyes. What do you see?
