Please pray as a matter of urgency for Moscow pastor Nikolai Romanyuk, who has been in prison for nine months for disagreeing with Russia's military actions against Ukraine.   Two court hearings have already taken place in the capital this week. The next is scheduled for Monday (August 4). Please pray for God’s intervention in this unjust case.   Nikolai Nikolaevich Romanyuk, leader of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, was arrested last October after speaking out against the war.   Our partner said that while he has been detained the authorities have been ‘trying to break him and force him to change his - deeply evangelical - point of view as an honest man’.   Pray:   Pray for justice to prevail at Monday’s hearing and for charges against Nikolai to be dropped Pray that God would protect the pastor in prison and use his detention for His purpose and glory Pray that God would strengthen and comfort Nikolai’s family, who have been deeply impacted by his arrest and detention  Please CLICK on the red button if you prayed.
