A lesbian archbishop opens Anglican doors.
This is a story of the Immortal Diamond, the Cherry on the Knickerbocker Glory of Anglicanism. The Anglican Church in Wales has just elected its new primate. This is the Bishop of Monmouth, the Right Rev Cherry Vann, 66.
She has a nice face. Part of the interest in the story is that Vann has a civil partner, of long standing, called Wendy Diamond. She has told interviewers that, from discovering her own sexuality, it took her 20 years to tell her parents she was gay.
God's word is found in The Bible. It is there for all to read - and this is profoundly wrong in His eyes.
Any organisation that spits into the face of God, or has genuine Christians ignoring that spitting - is surely lost for all time.
The amount of repentance required to repair this damage and corruption would far exceed anything I've ever encountered in my life before.
I have homosexual friends but they have no opportunity to drag me - or anyone else - down spiritually. I have many friends guilty of other serious sins.
On a personal level, I do my very best to hate the sin but love the sinner.
