Hi, Pastor Kim Jung-Wook, Missionary Kim Kook-kie and Missionary Choi Chun-gil (pictured left to right) have been detained in North Korea for over ten years. Pastor Kim, who had been providing vital aid and sharing the gospel with North Koreans in China, demonstrated extraordinary courage and compassion when he was coerced by North Korea’s State Security Department into the country. He was trying to find out what had happened to a group of refugees who had been forcibly returned to North Korea by the Chinese police while taking refuge at his church in Dandong. Missionaries Kim Kook-kie and Choi were arrested for their peaceful missionary work. They should never have been detained, and we are deeply concerned for their safety. Please, will you help those who have been abducted because of their beliefs and others who are being targeted for their faith? Make my gift All three men were sentenced to life imprisonment, with hard labour. They cannot access legal counsel and have not spoken with their loved ones for over a decade.
