Tragically, We Have So Many Left of Centre Parties From Poor To Extreme, From Weak To Deluded!

 SIR – Lisa Spivey, the Liberal Democrat leader of Gloucestershire council, argues that reducing 30mph speed limits improves air quality (“Council tax rises to fund 20mph zones”, report, February 25). Yet research has suggested that driving vehicles for longer, in lower gears, is not a way to reduce pollution.

These are ridiculous limits, being imposed on us by an anti-motoring party at great cost.
