Hi,Today marks three years since war broke out in Sudan – three years of devastating violence between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). These three years have plunged Sudan into one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises – with over 30 million people in urgent need of assistance, over 13 million displaced, and at least 150,000 killed. And a UN report released in February found that atrocities committed by the RSF in Darfur last October bore the ‘hallmarks of genocide’ – warning that more communities are at risk as fighting continues. Action is long overdue. That’s why we launched our Eyes on Sudan campaign – to make sure Sudan is not forgotten, to call those with influence to take action, and for those funding the war to be held to account. We’ll deliver the petition in just under two weeks’ time. But before we do that, we’re making one final push. Will you help us reach the next milestone? |
