We need to open ourselves up to the world, not just one
declining part of it.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!

Euro Arrest Warrant.
In 2007, like many 18-year-olds, Andrew Symeou jetted of to the Greek
island of Zante for a holiday with his friends.
Whilst he was on the island, fellow Brit Jonathan Hiles was killed after
an incident in a nightclub. A year after returning home, Andrew was arrested for
manslaughter despite never having met him and having numerous alibis confirming
his innocence.
Andrew fought to clear his name, but was ultimately extradited and had to
endure nearly a year in the notorious Greek prison system.
Andrew is here to talk about his new book which details his horrific
ordeal.
NOW do you get why UKIP opposes the European
Arrest Warrant?
Lunatics And Asylums Spring To Mind.
Smacking should be banned, say four UK children's commissioners who back 'non-violent forms of child rearing.'
In a report sent to the UN, commissioners from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland call on the government to 'immediately prohibit all corporal punishment in the family'. Mail. (All this at a time when child behaviour has probably sunk to the lowest point in our nation's history!) So who has appointed loonies to key positions? Are they gonna be sacked? If not - well, why not? Nobody advocates abuse - but a child without fear, by and large, is a child which will do whatever it likes. I saw corporal punishment - caning - banned in Rotherham schools and saw the behaviour deteriorate - exactly as predicted.

Bulgaria Wisely Keeps Out Of The Euro.
Bulgaria is watching the crisis in neighbouring Greece through wary eyes, with its PM noting that Sofia is in "no rush" to join the
euro.

Asia Bibi.
Asia Bibi Marks Sixth Year of 'Brutal' Incarceration in Pakistan; Christian Mother of 5 Faces Death Penalty for Blasphemy Charge of Drinking Water.
As Christian mother of five Asia Bibi marks her sixth year in prison in
Pakistan, placed on death row for blasphemy charges, a U.K. Christian group
reports that some attempts are being made to reform sections of the country's
controversial blasphemy laws that punish religious minorities. The group also
believes that Britain and the U.S. must rethink the way they provide financial
aid to Pakistan if they want to see reforms in the country. Christian News.
Changing the Scriptural Interpretations.
For thousands of years and with relatively minor differences between holy readers, the Scriptures have been easy to grasp and interpret. In our arrogant age however, we have reached a time in which we have taken the mores of modern man and decided to adjust the Scriptures until they fit our desired behaviour. Liberal 'christians' and theologians - BEWARE! God will not be mocked.
I am someone so far from perfection and so sin-riddled that I have to yield regularly in total and abject repentance before the cross. They, however, are so perfect in their own eyes, that they are prepared to declare that: 'Sins are not really sins at all. We have advanced and proclaim by our words and actions that we now know better than God.' (Braver than me!)

Lesbian Peppa.
It's time for a LESBIAN Peppa Pig: Lib Dem leadership hopeful says gay children's TV characters should 'not be out of bounds'
Norman Lamb, the former care minister who is standing against Tim Farron for the party leadership, said having a gay Peppa Pig should 'absolutely not be out of the question'. Mail. Well. All I can say to Mr Lamb is that Jesus makes it abundantly clear that those who pervert the minds of little children will be having future problems. Indeed, they would be better off with a millstone tied around their neck and being cast into the sea than the fate which awaits them! Just thought I'd better mention it. Hope he reads my Blog!

UKIP Cares On Local Issues Too!
BUSINESSES and shoppers are clamouring for free car parking to boost
trade in Sedgley - after a Freedom of
Information request revealed that current charges on one local site bring in a
"pitiful" profit of less than £300 a year. One Sedgley shopkeeper said his old-established family business had lost
between 15 and 20 per cent in takings over the last couple of years as customers
headed for areas with free parking, such as Merry Hill.
The campaign to end charging at the Bilston Street car park is being led
by Sedgley councillor and West Midlands Euro MP Bill Etheridge, who has
collected a 150-name petition calling for free parking. Dudley News.

New Currency Rumour.
I understand that the EU is to start printing all high denomination notes on greeceproof paper.
Tesco et al.
Tesco forced to slash prices by Aldi and Lidl.
The last five years have seen the emergence of the discounters and the slashing of prices. AOL News.
If this is the way things are with Tesco - it is far from the case at our local Morrisons. I did a shop there last evening along with Mrs Blogger and it was noteworthy how they actually seemed to be getting worse. The BOGOFs were fewer; the mark downs of goods approaching their sell-by date were not sufficient to entice me to buy; there were items not on sale which I would have easily purchased in ASDA and finally, for the first time in my experience, ASDA was better in almost all respects. As regular readers will know, I rotate my shopping and remember prices so as to maximise savings. Well, as part of that, Morrisons will be receiving fewer visits from us.
