David Quarrie In The YP.

Cameron knows full well the nation’s views on the euro, the EU, the war in Afghanistan, foreign aid, the bankers, immigration, crime, the NHS, the “cuts” in the wrong areas, the tax dodging by the mega-rich and big business, homosexual and lesbian “marriages”, welfare payments, grammar schools, and many more right wing topics, but dares not to carry out the wishes of so many of the English voting public.Only about 12 per cent of voters supported the Conservatives in May 2010, because much as they disliked Labour and the Liberal Democrats, they had no faith in Cameron.I have lived in England for nearly 66 years and never before have I been so unhappy and in such total despair with our political parties. Only Ukip offer me any hope for the future!

Mr Quarrie is right about everything he mentions in his letter. His facts are straightforward and undeniable. There is just one thing which troubles me in his assessment. He refers to the listed beliefs as being 'rightwing'. I do not believe this to be the case. Almost every view listed, a mere half century ago would have been considered of the political centre or sometimes as the centre right. It horrifies me that basic common sense has been turned into 'rightwing' today ~ such is the massive leftward shift by the ruling political elites of our nation. The real extreme here is the massive and unwanted lurch to the left by the out of touch and the terminally undemocratic. They fool and betray us all whenever they now portray their idiocies as being'the politics of the centre.'
Mr Quarrie should not be drawn into playing their game for them.

How Do We Know Christianity Is Right Out Of All The Religions? ~ Worth A Look.

http://www.bethinking.org/other-religions/intermediate/how-do-we-know-christianity-is-right-out-of-all-the-religions.htm
One logical certainty is that either all religions are wrong or just one IS right. All attempts to meld them together are doomed to fail - the inconsistencies are just too huge between each.
Judaeo/Christianity with ONE God, as one example out of many, can in no way connect to any religion with multiple gods. To attempt to find connections in such circumstances is simply absurd!
All such attempts fail, although admittedly, not in a manner which is quite so spectacular.

Damascus ~ Scriptural Matters.

´See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins," reads the first verse of the 17th chapter of the prophetic book of Isaiah, believed by scholars to have been written between the late 8th and 7th centuries B.C. Although some critiques argue that the Damascus prophecy was fulfilled in 732 B.C. when the Assyrians leveled the city, others, also pointing to Jeremiah 49:23-27, insist this is an End Times event yet to come to pass.

Interestingly, Damascus is the oldest city in the world to be continuously inhabited up to the present day.

The Euro Is Dead ~ Why Will Europhiles Not Bury The Thing?

FDP budgetary spokesman: Germany could reinstate D-Mark with euro remaining as an export currencyIn an interview with ARD’s Morgenmagazin, Jürgen Koppelin, the FDP’s parliamentary budgetary spokesman, proposed that Germany and other eurozone members should return to their national currencies for domestic purposes while keeping the euro as an export and trading currency.
Writing in the FT, Professor Hans-Olaf Henkel, the former head of the Federation of German Industries and one of the country’s most prominent euro critics, writes that despite her reputation in much of Europe for inflexibility “Should the [German Constitutional] Court rule that further shifts of power to Brussels are subject to a referendum or should Finland opt to leave the euro, Ms Merkel might face her second ‘Fukushima’…That could result in another spectacular policy U-turn, this time on the euro.”

Not Fit To Be PM.

Following his half-hour meeting with French President François Hollande yesterday, Labour leader Ed Miliband said, “I want to say very, very clearly that we consider Britain’s place to be in Europe and firmly in Europe.” Later, asked if he would never endorse an in-out referendum, Mr Miliband said that it was not the priority.
