Following his half-hour meeting with French President François Hollande yesterday, Labour leader Ed Miliband said, “I want to say very, very clearly that we consider Britain’s place to be in Europe and firmly in Europe.” Later, asked if he would never endorse an in-out referendum, Mr Miliband said that it was not the priority.
