I was sorry to hear about the 'crisis of faith' which has been endured by the former triple jumper and Songs of Praise presenter Jonathan Edwards but as I have previously stated on this blog, there is a real need for faith to be experienced. Where faith is merely opinion, then it's validity will always be open to question and its base is one of sand.It is also harder to live the Christian life. There is no way anybody who has felt God's hand directly can then move onto doubt His existence. They may backslide but they will always know the Truth.
