Amnesty & Liberty.

I have no wish to be unfair to any organisation and so I visited the current websites of both Liberty & Amnesty in order to confirm my hunch.
It was indeed as I suspected.

Certainly, on the main pages, there was no mention to be found of the English teacher Gillian Gibbons, arrested in the Sudan and imprisoned because her class had apparently misnamed a teddy bear.

Hmm. Highly selective or what? Only leftwing, liberal causes to be taken seriously? Only prepared to attack Christianity and not Islam? Evenhanded? -
