Prayer is needed.

I have made my thoughts about Christmas clear. I still welcome family togetherness and the Christmas Communion but of the rest - I want nothing!
Christmas is a busy time but could I urge those readers who become enmeshed in the season to take some time out for important prayer.

In our nation there are growing signs of persecution of Christians but as yet, this is nothing compared to what so many of our brothers and sisters have to face for their faith in so many despotic, islamic and atheistic nations around the world.

Pray for those imprisoned for worshipping the Saviour, those whose very lives are threatened and those targeted for taking out God's Word to the nations.

Remember them. Prayer works. Make their Christmas rather better by committing yourself to pray for these with whom we have such a bond.
