The secrecy and lack of transparency of the European Union is the stuff of legend.Critics of this august body have demanded a Cost Benefit Analysis - a most reasonable response. Let the people know just how much the thing costs. The government however, will not permit this and the Conservatives and Lib Dems remain tight-lipped.
If you, as a ranting europhile, have nothing to hide - you would merrily undertake such a study to show people what a wonderful bargain they are getting - well, wouldn't you?
